Big-budget sci-fi movies are some of the biggest cash cows in Hollywood right now, and few franchises have provided as many consistent hits as Godzilla. Godzilla movies have been around for decades now, but when Warner Bros. launched the MonsterVerse franchise in 2014, the legendary monster became an even bigger global sensation. Three years after the release of Godzilla (starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen), Warner Bros. also launched a King Kong movie titled Kong: Skull Island (starring Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston), and the two finally crossed over in 2021 with the premiere of Godzilla vs. Kong. Three years later, they teamed up in the megablockbuster smash hit Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and the new duo will face a deadly threat next year when Godzilla x Kong: Supernova hits theaters everywhere.

Godzilla has crossed over with plenty of famous franchises over the years, and he’s set to do exactly that once again with the release of Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse, which arrives everywhere this July. Infinite realities unleash infinite possibilities as Godzilla ascends to the Marvel multiverse, taking on new versions based on signature Marvel characters like Wolverine. Gerry Duggan is writing the new series with art from Javier Garrón, and David Marquez worked on the dashing new variant covers, which Collider is thrilled to exclusively preview below. An official synopsis for Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse, which features Marvel heroes such as Spider-Man and Doctor Doom, reads as follows:

“An unholy alliance between Knull and Godzilla conquers the Marvel Universe — and now Doctor Doom, Spider-Man, Kang, Emma Frost, Ghost Rider, the Punisher, Man-Thing and more stand on the edge of annihilation! When Doomstadt rips across dimensions to capture a kaiju capable of stopping the King of the Monsters, the team collides with mecha fiends, multiversal kaiju and a deadly Red Skull in adamantium armor. But as universes burn, an unexpected ally may hold the key to survival.”

Based on your answers, the Marvel hero who matches your spirit, values, and instincts has been revealed.

You carry the weight of the world on shoulders that are younger than they should have to be — funny, loyal, and endlessly self-sacrificing.

You fight in the shadows between law and chaos, guided by a fierce moral compass that refuses to let the guilty walk free.

Brilliant, driven, and occasionally insufferable — but always the person who solves the unsolvable problem.

You’ve been through fire that would break most people — and it did change you, completely. What’s left is unyielding, relentless, and operating by a code forged in grief.

Powerful, proud, and on a lifelong journey to become worthy of the legend you carry.

You believe in something bigger than yourself — and you fight for it even when the world has moved on and nobody else will.

At the time of writing, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova is scheduled for release exclusively in theaters on March 26, 2027. Plot details about the film are being kept under wraps for now, but it’s confirmed that it will see the two all-star Titans team up to take on a “cataclysmic threat.” Dan Stevens will return to star in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova as Trapper, but the rest of the ensemble is mostly new stars, such as Jack O’Connell (Sinners), Sam Neill (Jurassic Park), Kaitlyn Dever (The Last of Us), Matthew Modine (Stranger Things), and more. Grant Sputore is directing Godzilla x Kong: Supernova with a script from Dave Callaham.

Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the Godzilla franchise.
