“Tell Me Lies” Creator Working On New Drama For Hulu

April 27, 2026 Roger Palmer

Earlier this year, the hit series “Tell Me Lies” wrapped up after three seasons, and the show’s creator, Meaghan Oppenheimer, is working on a new drama series, which is currently going by the name of “Bastards”.

The show will tell the story of what happens after a world-famous artist is engulfed in a public scandal, her three adult children – each from a different father and each unravelling in their own way – are forced to move back into their childhood home to take care of the teenage sister they barely know. As old dynamics resurface and secrets come to light, the siblings must confront their inheritance of love, cruelty, and chaos.

According to Variety, Meaghan will be working on the project as the writer and executive producer. She has an overall deal with 20th Television, and the project has been fast-tracked for a series on Hulu/Disney+.

Over the years, Meaghan has worked on a number of different shows, including “Fear Of The Walking Dead”, along with “Broken” and “Queen America”.

As with any project in the early stages, very little is known about the project, such as who will star in it or when it might be released on Hulu or Disney+ internationally.
