For Amazon’s lesser-known streaming service, MGM+, From remains its flagship series. The horror thriller has gained a cult following since its 2022 premiere, and while it started off largely unnoticed, it has continued to win viewers over with every new season. The series returned for Season 4 a few weeks ago, and as expected, it has reclaimed its place on MGM+‘s streaming charts after being briefly dethroned by Rebecca Ferguson’s sci-fi thriller, Mercy. However, From’s success has spilled into another streaming platform.
Streaming data from FlixPatrol shows that From is now among some of the most-streamed shows on HBO Max, ranked sixth at the time of writing. This comes after the series expanded its international availability across local and global streaming platforms, including HBO Max. While the series is available only on MGM+ in the US, international subscribers have been enjoying the past three seasons on HBO Max, even as the next chapter of the story unfolds in Season 4.
The new season of the Harold Perrineau-led series is as brutal as the previous three, as the town’s mysteries continue to rain chaos on the characters’ lives. A new arrival is here to make sure that the answers the townsfolk have been searching for do not bring peace but more pain and suffering. In Sunday’s episode, Boyd (Perrineau) comes to the aid of someone in a deep crisis as Acosta (Samantha Brown) struggles with adjusting. Meanwhile, Julie (Hannah Cheramy) taps into her abilities while Tabitha (Catalina Sandino Moreno) makes a huge gamble. Ethan (Simon Webster) and Victor (Scott McCord) are back together as they dig for answers after Ethan’s latest epiphany.
Your instincts, your strengths, and your particular way of thinking under pressure point to one villain you actually have a fighting chance against. Everyone else — good luck.
Jason is relentless, but he is also predictable — and that is the gap you would exploit.
Michael watches before he moves. He is patient, methodical, and almost impossible to detect — until it’s too late for anyone who isn’t paying close enough attention.
Freddy wins by getting inside your head — using your own fears, your own memories, your own subconscious as weapons against you. That strategy requires a target who can be destabilised.
Pennywise is ancient, shapeshifting, and feeds on terror — but it has one critical vulnerability: it cannot function against someone who genuinely stops being afraid of it.
Chucky’s greatest advantage is that nobody takes him seriously until it’s already too late. He exploits the gap between how something looks and what it actually is.
Even as From makes a mark on the streamer, its own shows remain the most popular. Euphoria has settled into the No. 1 spot three weeks after the series returned for Season 3. Steve Carell’s comedy Rooster is ranked second, with the hit medical drama, The Pitt, claiming third place two weeks after the Season 2 finale. With Euphoria back on the charts, Sam Levinson’s controversial HBO music drama The Idol is back on streaming charts, ranked fourth. Also on the chart are: La Promesa, Wild Heart, The Other Bennett Sister, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, and Chernobyl. From was created by John Griffin in association with Jeff Pinkner (writer) and Jack Bender (director).
