“IMPACT x Nightline: Evil Found Them: The Lovers Lane Murders” Coming Soon To Hulu & Disney+
Disney has announced details on a new documentary, “IMPACT x Nightline: Evil Found Them: The Lovers Lane Murders”, which will be coming soon to Disney+ and Hulu in the United States.
“IMPACT x Nightline” delves into one of Houston’s most notorious double homicides that went unsolved for nearly 36 years, looking inside the so-called Lovers’ Lane Murders that rattled the city after Cheryl Henry and Andy Atkinson were found brutally killed at a then-remote location after a night out. From clues of DNA matching a rape that occurred two months before the murders to investigators spending years searching for the person who did it, the case went cold.
The latest episode of “IMPACT x Nightline: Evil Found Them: The Lovers Lane Murders” unravels how a tip helped an FBI team working with Houston police track down the suspect and carry out an arrest. Plus, the episode reveals the details of the shocking jailhouse suicide that will deny the victims’ families their day in court.
