The spy thriller genre has produced some of the most popular movies and TV shows in the world over the last fifty years. Whether it’s high-profile espionage agents like James Bond, or lesser-known shows like Citadel on Prime Video, fans usually don’t have to wait too long for a new spy show or movie to scratch the sneaky itch. Paramount has settled on The Agency as its spy thriller of choice, and after first premiering back at the end of 2024 alongside ***Landman ***Season 1, Season 2 is finally set to be released later this month on June 21. Paramount unleashed the first trailer for The Agency Season 2 a few weeks ago confirming the Season 2 date, and it also teases higher stakes and even more intense action in the follow-up.

One thing that will be different for fans heading into The Agency Season 2 is the method in which the show is being dropped on Paramount Plus. While Season 1 released new episodes weekly following a two-episode premiere, all 10 episodes of Season 2 will be released at once as a binge on June 21, meaning fans will not have to wait for weeks on end to experience new episodes. Before all episodes of The Agency begin streaming on Paramount Plus in just a few weeks, Collider is thrilled to partner with Paramount to exclusively preview the first two minutes from Season 2, which can be found below along with a new poster and title card for the series. In the new sneak peek, Samia (played by Jodie Turner-Smith) has been kidnapped, and her assailants are under attack, which puts her life in extraordinary danger.

In addition to Michael Fassbender as Martian and Jodie Turner-Smith as Samia, The Agency also stars Jeffrey Wright as Henry, Richard Gere as Bosko, Katherine Waterston as Naomi, and John Magaro as Owen. Alex Reznik also stars in the series as Coyote, and Harriet Sansom Harris can be seen as Dr. Blake. Hugh Bonneville also has a small role in The Agency as James Richardson.
