When Is “Toy Story 5” Coming To Disney+?

This Summer, Pixar is bringing its latest instalment in the iconic “Toy Story” franchise to the big screen, with “Toy Story 5”.

In the new film, the toys are back, and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack) and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?

“Toy Story 5” is directed by Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton, co-directed by Kenna Harris, produced by Lindsey Collins, and written by Stanton and Harris from a story by Stanton. The film features the original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” – performed by Taylor Swift and written and produced by Swift and Jack Antonoff – along with an original score by Oscar winner Randy Newman, who returns to score his fifth “Toy Story” feature.

When Is “Toy Story 5” Released?

“Toy Story 5” is being released exclusively in cinemas on June 19th, 2026.

When Will “Toy Story 5” Be On Disney+?

Currently, no official Disney+ release date has yet been announced.

As with other major theatrical releases, Disney generally gives its movies an exclusive theatrical window, usually around 100 days. So this means we are unlikely to see “Toy Story 5” arrive on Disney+ until the end of September 2026, though it could be later if “Toy Story 5” becomes very successful at the box office, since Disney can delay streaming releases if they continue to make money in cinemas.
