A cinematic obsessive with the filmic palate of a starving raccoon, Rob London will watch pretty much anything once. With a mind like a steel trap, he’s an endless fount of movie and TV trivia, borne from a misspent youth of watching monster movies on TV, perusing the sun-faded goods at the local video rental shop, and staining his fingers with ink from the Video Movie Guide. Areas of interest include science fiction, film noir, horror flicks, ’70s disaster pictures, Bond movies, ’90s action, giant robots, dinosaurs, super heroes, and the exuberantly schlocky output of Cannon Films. He also enjoys both Star Trek and Star Wars when they’re good, and maybe even more when they’re bad. As a Canadian, he also has a vested interest in Canadian movies and TV shows, especially the cheesier ones dubbed “Canuxploitation.”
An expert on Marvel Comics, he has also written for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and is a member of the Marvel Research Team. He can frequently be found pontificating on comic-book continuity or bemoaning the misfortunes of the Toronto Maple Leafs on his Twitter account.

Season 6 of Only Murders in the Building is becoming a real Doctor Who-dunit. Two former stars of the long-running (until recently) science fiction franchise are set to join the cast of suspects, witnesses, and red herrings of the Hulu crime comedy as it ventures across the Atlantic next season, as are seemingly half the actors in the British Isles.
According to reports, both David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker, who starred together on the British crime drama ***Broadchurch ***before boarding the TARDIS, will recur on season 6 of Only Murders in the Building. Joining them are Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton), Jim Broadbent (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Richard Ayoade (Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace), Adrian Lukis (The War Between the Land and the Sea), and Kathryn Hunter (Andor). They join a bevy of already announced guest stars for the new season, which will take the show’s central trio out of their cozy Manhattan apartment building and into London, England: they include Martin Freeman (Sherlock), Derek Jacobi (Good Omens), Simone Ashley (Sex Education), and onetime Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell-Horner. No character details have yet been revealed for the new guest cast.

In the series’ fifth-season finale, Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) wrapped up the season’s mystery, revealing that New York City Mayor Tillman (Keegan-Michael Key) had murdered Lester (Teddy Coluca), the longtime doorman of their apartment building, The Arconia, and saving the building from development in the process. However, a new mystery soon dropped into their laps, as true-crime podcast Cinda Canning (Tina Fey), who they’d encountered on their first case, staggered through the streets of Manhattan, bleeding badly and clad in a Natasha Lyonne-like red wig, before dying on the Arconia’s gates. The new season will see the mystery-solving trio chasing Canning’s killer across the Atlantic, venturing into an unfamiliar city bereft of their usual support network.
Created by Martin and John Hoffman, Only Murders in the Building premiered on Hulu in 2021, and has consistently been a hit with critics and audiences. The show’s cast won the Actor Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast (or Ensemble) in a Comedy Series for their performance in the show’s fourth season.
