If you thought Helluva Boss had already reached peak horniness, Vivienne Medrano has some news for you. The creator recently revealed that one upcoming Season 3 musical sequence pushes the show’s adult humor even further, to the point that even series star **Brandon Rogers **was caught off guard. Speaking during an interview with Collider’s Steve Weintraub at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Medrano teased an upcoming sequence arriving in October that she believes is one of the coolest moments in the new season.
While she couldn’t reveal exactly what happens without spoilers, she admitted the reactions from people who have already seen it weren’t quite what she expected. For Medrano, the sequence always felt less like an excuse to shock audiences and more like a slick, stylish music video. She knew it was raunchy, but she viewed it as a creative showcase more than anything else. That changed once she started hearing how other people responded. Medrano told Collider:
“We have a sequence in Season 3, so I can’t reveal what it is, but people will see in October, that I think is cool. It’s so funny because I was like, ‘I know this is raunchy,’ but I just thought, ‘This is a sleek music video. It’s so cool.’ Then seeing people react to it… Brandon Rogers, who is our main character, is known for doing outlandish, crude, he’s-naked-in-the-street comedy, and seeing him be like, ‘That was a lot,’ I was like, ‘Really? It was a lot to you?’ Then, the fact that Prime is letting us put that out on their platform.”
Based on your personality, energy, and taste, the classic rock band that matches your soul is…
You are pure, undiluted rock energy. You don’t need tricks, trends, or theatrical gimmicks — you have something more powerful: a riff that hits like a thunderbolt and an attitude that never wavers. Like AC/DC, you understand that simplicity executed with absolute conviction is its own form of genius. You’re the person in the room who doesn’t overthink it, doesn’t pretend, and never turns the volume down. The highway to hell is a state of mind — and you’ve been on it since day one.
You’ve got swagger that can’t be taught. Rooted in the blues and soaked in street-level attitude, you move through life with a loose, dangerous elegance that draws people in without ever trying too hard. Like the Stones, you’ve seen it all, done most of it, and somehow look better for it. You’re not chasing perfection — you’re chasing truth, groove, and that electric moment when everything clicks. Can’t always get what you want? You tend to get it anyway.
You go hard or you go home — and you almost always go hard. Intense, dedicated, and fiercely loyal to what you believe in, you don’t do anything halfway. Like Metallica, your passion runs deeper than most people’s will ever go, and when you care about something, it shows in every detail. You’re drawn to darkness not because you’re cynical, but because you’re honest — and honest people know the world isn’t always pretty. Enter Sandman. Nothing else matters. That’s your philosophy.
You are magnificent, and you know it — not from arrogance, but from an unshakeable sense of self that has never needed anyone’s permission. Like Queen, you defy every category people try to place you in. You blend the epic with the intimate, the operatic with the anthemic, the serious with the playful. You live boldly, love fiercely, and perform every aspect of your life as though the whole world is watching. Because sometimes it is. We are the champions — and so are you.
You have the rarest of gifts: the ability to make something that feels both deeply personal and universally human. Like The Beatles, you’re a natural connector — someone whose warmth, curiosity, and creative instincts draw people together across every divide. You believe in melody, in craftsmanship, and in the quiet power of a song that says exactly what someone needed to hear. You’ve changed the people around you just by being who you are. All you need is love — and you give it generously.
Medrano isn’t the only member of the Helluva Boss team to hint that Season 3 is dialing up the show’s already unapologetic energy. In an interview last year with Collider, Rogers was asked to describe the upcoming season in just three words, and his answer painted a pretty clear picture.
“More, horny, more horny… Jesus. No, wait, we can’t say Jesus in Hell, that’s a swear. Well… bigger, faster, redder… sexier.”
Those comments line up neatly with Medrano’s latest tease. While she emphasized that the October sequence stands out because of its stylish presentation as much as its explicit content, she also admitted that Helluva Boss is “pushing the boundary on the horny content in Season 3.” Her comments also suggest the move to Prime Video hasn’t changed the series’ creative identity. Rather than toning things down for a larger streaming audience, Medrano admitted she was pleasantly surprised the platform was willing to let the sequence remain exactly as intended.
That should come as welcome news for longtime fans. Helluva Boss has built its audience by balancing outrageous comedy with increasingly emotional storytelling, and Season 3 doesn’t appear interested in sacrificing either side of that equation. If Medrano and Rogers are any indication, the next batch of episodes will be bigger, bolder, sexier, and apparently just shocking enough to make even Blitzø’s voice actor do a double-take.
Helluva Boss Season 3 premieres on October 14, 2026. Stay tuned at Collider for more.
