Avatar Officially Returns This Month For An All-New Adventure

Avatar: The Last Airbender fans are having a great year so far, with the second season of the live-action Netflix series recently releasing and the upcoming launch of the Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender film finally getting its debut on Paramount+. Further, fans are looking forward to the official The Legend of Korra sequel, Avatar: Seven Havens, slated for a 2027 release.

Beyond film and television, however, *Avatar *is also making headlines with several new announcements in gaming, though it’s not all good news. Sadly, a highly anticipated *Avatar *RPG from Paramount Skydance was officially canned earlier this year, which came as a shock considering it was lauded as being the “biggest video game in franchise history.”

However, there’s plenty of good news on the Avatar gaming front as well, with the 2026 release of Voyage of the Unity set to drop in September, an upcoming expansion for the acclaimed Avatar Legends TTRPG. Perhaps the most exciting upcoming release for the franchise, though, is Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, which officially drops later this month on July 23, 2026 (via Steam).
