2026 has been a year full of ups and downs for Star Wars fans, who were treated to one of the highest-rated projects in franchise history: Maul — Shadow Lord, the Disney+ series starring Sam Witwer. Disney picked up the show for Season 2 before a single episode aired, and it’s all but confirmed that Season 2 will return next year. The new expansion is designed to take players through the events of Season 3 of The Mandalorian, where Din Djarin seeks redemption in the Mines of Mandalore and other Mandalorians focus on reclaiming the planet and restoring it to its former glory.
