Norman Reedus Officially Moves on From 'The Walking Dead'

2026 has already been another stellar year for Apple TV, with the streamer currently hosting one of the most-watched shows in the world. Everyone’s favorite heartwarming sports series, Ted Lasso, finally returned after three years away, following Ted’s (Jason Sudeikis) time as coach at AFC Richmond, which came to an end. Now he is back and coaching AFC Richmond’s brand-new women’s team, The Lady Greyhounds, alongside Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt) and Alice Chilton (Tanya Reynolds).

Since its return early last month, *Ted Lasso *has returned to the streaming summit and remains unmoved. In the U.S., the show has now spent 948 days in the top ten, a remarkable achievement for a series that was off our screens for three years, following its record-breaking Season 4 premiere, which became Apple TV’s biggest streaming launch in history. But although *Ted Lasso *is dominating the streamer’s headlines, don’t forget that Apple TV still boasts one of the best line-ups of series of all the streamers, including a selection of tantalizing options currently in development.

One such series confirmed to be in development since May is the CIA thriller Disavowed, which stars **James Marsden **following his performance in the second season of Your Friends & Neighbors earlier this year, another Apple TV smash hit. Thanks to a brand-new report, it’s been officially confirmed that **Norman Reedus **will star opposite Marsden in Disavowed, in a currently undisclosed role. Reedus is, of course, most famous for his role as Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead franchise. He would then lead the spin-off The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which is currently preparing for its fourth and final run next year.
